KWG Group sales climb 30pc
Mainland developers reported a growth in sales last month, with KWG Group's (1813) contracted sales growing 32.5 percent over a year ago in November to 8.6 billion yuan (HK$9.6 billion). For the first 11 months of 2019, the developer recorded a year-on-year sales growth of 29 percent to 76.9 billion yuan. Times China (1233) also posted its contracted sales rose 34 percent over a year earlier to 8.3 billion yuan with a contracted sales area of 601,000 square meters, up 46.6 percent year-on-year. Its contracted sales rose 25.7 percent to 67.7 billion yuan during the first 11 months and the sales area expanded 40 percent compared with the same period last year. Fantasia's (1777) contracted sales only edged up 1 percent to 4.1 billion yuan in November. Sales for the first 11 months this year grew by 20.1 percent to 30.5 billion yuan. Guangdong-based developer Agile (3383) also announced its sales in November slid 17.6 percent compared with a year ago to 8.9 billion yuan. Its contracted sales added 22.6 percent to 109.2 billion this year as of November 30. Elsewhere, Jiangsu-based Jiayuan International (2768) said its contracted sales in November increased by 32 percent year-on-year to 3.2 billion yuan, while sales for the first 11 months rose 41 percent to 25.4 billion yuan.
